We provide NHS dentistry, which means that we provide the full range of treatments that you might need for your oral (mouth) health. Our dentists Rebecca Milburn, Svetislav Zaric and Visjna O’Shea provide a full NHS dental service for adults and children. Some of the common treatments we provide on the NHS include things like check ups, fillings and crowns and dentures. If you have an urgent problem, Adrian Page also provides emergency dental appointments on the NHS.
Sometimes, even when treatment is clinically necessary, there may be treatment options which are not included on the NHS. If this happens, your dentist will talk through the different options and the reasons behind the treatment options being proposed, so that you are properly informed to make a decision with your dentist about what is best for you.
You should also be aware that the NHS will not pay for cosmetic treatment options like teeth whitening, which you may want to make your teeth more attractive but which aren’t necessary for your oral health. However, we do provide cosmetic and private dental care within the practice.
There is more information about what is available on the NHS on the NHS Choices website, including information about some of the common dental treatments.
